European business organization BUSINESSEUROPE of which LPK is a member prepared a position paper about the main problems regarding EU-UK trade and investment since the end of the transition period.
BUSINESSEUROPE singled out issues related to Roads and Rail Haulage and Shipping, Customs-related Issues, Rules of Origin, Tariff exemptions and special procedures, Labeling requirements for conformity assessed products, Professional qualifications, and workers mobility and other. These problems have already affected European businesses and it needs to be immediately resolved.
Also, BUSINESSEUROPE pointed out the main issues in the medium to long-term. It is related to Technical Barriers to Trade, Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures, Data flows, Workers and other.
