A meeting between the members and management of Business at OECD (BIAC) took place with the ambassadors to the OECD and the leadership of this organization  on February 25. Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists also took place in this event.

OECD Secretary-General Angel Guria welcomed the contribution of BIAC to the preparation of OECD analyzes and recommendations and pointed out the importance of cooperating with this business organization. Mr Guria stated that the biggest global problem at the moment was the COVID-19 pandemic, which required vaccination as soon as possible, support for business and the importance of creating open economies for the future. The OECD  sees the importance of exploiting this crisis for economic and social growth by creating a climate-neutral economy.

The meeting was attended by Ričardas Sartatavičius, General Director of LPK, Gintaras Morkis, Deputy General Director of LPK, Jūratė Balytovienė, Deputy Director of LPK Foreign Relations and EU Affairs Department.
